What “pests” are covered in a Pest Inspection?

The common misconception by a homeowner or homebuyer who requests a pest inspection, is that the company will note any pests present, such as rodents, bats, cockroaches; etc.

This unfortunately, is wrong. The official name for the "Pest Inspection" is actually a WDO (Wood Destroying Organism) Inspection. This is a thorough inspection for any wood destroying organism, such as fungus, termites & beetles, currently at the structure. This also includes any conditions that may lead to such infestation or infection, such as water leaks, faulty grades, etc.

Do you perform the repairs in-house?

Yes! Not only do we have the ability to, we also are additionally licensed as a California Licensed General Contractor, Lic#: 1115282; meaning you have the Peace of Mind that you have an experienced professional doing all of the repairs and sub-contracting out trusted professionals!

Do you offer termite and fungus treatments?

All treatments recommended in our reports can be conducted by our team! We only use proven, effective, and EPA registered chemicals and methods to provide the fastest and most sustainable results!

Do I need to be there for the inspection?

Not necessarily! If you have other things to do, please just allow us access to the home. Commonly, due to our trustworthy reputation, real estate agents and homeowners will provide us a door access code to enter the homes. You can always meet us at the end for a summary of findings.

How long is the inspection?

Pest inspections run typically 1.5 hours on average for homes under 2500sqft.

Home Inspections are more involved resulting in 3-5 hours on average for homes under 2500sqft.
