1. Inspection & Preparation
Our licensed inspector identifies all areas of termite activity. Before treatment, we’ll guide you through simple prep steps, like removing heat-sensitive items (candles, electronics, plants, etc.) and ensuring access to affected spaces.
2. Equipment Setup
We position our heat duct(s) strategically throughout the structure or treatment zone. Air movers and temperature probes are placed to ensure even airflow and thorough heat penetration in walls, attics, floors, and wood framing.
3. Controlled Heating
Once the setup is complete, we gradually raise the temperature of the structure to a lethal range of 120–140°F. This temperature is maintained long enough to ensure heat penetrates deep into the wood, reaching hidden colonies, galleries, and termite eggs.
4. Constant Monitoring
During treatment, our technicians monitor temperatures in real time using wireless temperature sensors placed in key areas. This ensures the entire space reaches the target temperature safely and evenly, without risk to finishes, furniture, or structural materials.
5. Cooling & Post-Treatment Verification
After the lethal temperature period, we allow the structure to cool naturally. Our team then performs a detailed walkthrough, checks probe data logs, and confirms that every treated area achieved effective temperature exposure for complete termite elimination.
6. Peace of Mind
You can re-enter your home the same day; no bagging food, no chemical odor, and no lingering residues. You’ll receive documentation of your treatment and guidance on preventing future infestations.
